FraCXura is a breath of fresh air and a change of pace to today’s modern music. Their passion for 80’s rock music, eccentricity in their style and performance never bores their fans. Their catchy hooks, innovative production techniques and sizzling fresh lyrics deliver a familiar yet unique experience.

The band began with guitarist Cobain Kemp and vocalist Owen Kelsey meeting at jam night and performing a couple of songs together. The two just clicked there and then through the music. Inspired by 80s rock and metal they decided to start a band.  Together they forge a wall of sound that’s as intense as it is unforgettable. 

Their original music is a rich tapestry woven from various genres, including new wave British heavy metal, AOR, glam metal and hard rock. This eclectic mix fuels the creativity of each member, allowing them to craft original music that retains the essence of metal music. They embody the spirit of the glam era, appealing to contemporary audiences. The band’s passion lies in performing for large crowds, and their commitment to delivering an engaging show and connecting with fans through their music serves as a powerful motivator.

Fronting the band, Owen Kelsey is blessed with both musical talent and showmanship. Commanding the stage with fierce and powerful vocals he brings an energy that captivates audiences. 

Guitarist Cobain Kemp shreds with technical precision and emotive flair. His musical talent and ability to ‘think outside of the box’ brings a unique sound to the music. 

Guitarist Jovi Burton lays down the heavy rhythm guitar that creates a distinctive sound combining overdrive pedals with a stable harmonic base maintaining tempo like a steady pulse. 

Jack Veale holds down the rhythm section, delivering thunderous baselines that keep the low end tight and punishing, bringing that all important punch and thump to the music.   

Drummer Joe Routledge brings it all together with explosive drumming that fuels FraCXura’s relentless sound. His energy and hypnotic beats certainly get the audiences raising the ‘Devil Horns!’      

The band has released three singles on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music under their previous name Fraxure and the new single “Murder in the First Degree” under their new name FraCXura. Their tracks “Desert Wolf” and “Path to Hell” have featured on the playlists of Rock of Ages (Brum Radio) Hard Rock Hell, Black Cat Radio and Sine FM.
